Jerrod has made a huge impact on how I have developed, especially in high school. He has experience at the collegiate level and knows what it takes to build your body up to get there, and most importantly the commitment level it takes from both sides. Jerrod will push you every day to be your best, and be right there along the way every step of the journey through the highs and lows. I was coached by Jerrod Babik for 4 years in high school as he was Ryle football’s strength and conditioning coach while I was on the team. Coach Babik was a very educated and dedicated strength coach. He really cared about the players and created fitness plans that would really maximize the ability of the individual player. One of my personal favorite aspects of him as a strength coach was his focus on teaching proper technique for each lift/exercise. He would always make sure that individuals had proper form and technique before they were able to have free reign on the exercise. This was especially important for explosive movements and Olympic lifts. Many of the lifts and exercises that Coach Babik had us doing in high school are still being done by me today with our NCAA Division I strength and conditioning coaches. Going into college football, I had to spend zero time learning new technique on many exercises as I had already perfected them thanks to my coaching from Jerrod Babik.

Do NOT believe the myth that women over 55 cannot lose weight or get in shape.  My three years with Jerrod Babik prove otherwise!  Jerrod customizes your workout to your abilities as you begin training with him then slowly but consistently moves the bar so that weight and reps increase as does your strength.  Each session contains new but very manageable challenges so you never get bored.  Jerrod's vast experience in the field of fitness ensures that he knows how much a person (even a post menopausal woman) should be able to accomplish.  You will sweat with Jerrod!  But it is worth it as one day you realize you are standing up straighter, you are toned and yes - you have lost some weight.  I give Jerrod a five star rating.
